MT. FUJI

OVERNIGHT · 2 DAYS

MT. FUJI

Beyond Hakone, the mountain is waiting. Arrive lakeside by evening, then ride the shoreline at dawn before the tour buses wake up — Fuji shows its true face only to those who stay the night.

✓ ~100km / 2+ hrs from Kamakura via Hakone✓ Carry cash for tolls and mountain areas✓ MULTI-DAY plan (2 days minimum)

THE SPOTS

01

Lake Kawaguchi · Oishi Park

The classic Fuji-over-the-lake view. Come early for the mirror reflection; the northern shore road is nearly signal-free.

02

Yamanaka Panorama-dai

A hilltop over Lake Yamanaka. Go at dusk, when the lake turns orange under the mountain.

03

Lake Motosu

The Fuji on the ¥1,000 bill is drawn from here. The quietest of the five lakes, with impossibly clear water.

04

Oshino Hakkai

A village of spring-water ponds fed by Fuji itself. Cold water and soba noodles — the perfect mid-ride reset.

LICENSE CHECK

Can You Ride in Japan?

Select the country that issued your license. We’ll tell you what documents you need to ride a chopper in Japan.

* License + official Japanese translation (JAF): Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Monaco, Estonia, Slovenia. France & Belgium may use either an IDP or a translation.

GOOD TO KNOW

A valid large motorcycle license (unrestricted displacement) is required. License verification will be conducted on the day of your ride. No exceptions.

International Riders: The following documents are required:
① IDP (International Driving Permit) — must include "Category A" for large motorcycles
② Your home country driver's license (original)
③ Passport
※ Without Category A on your IDP, you cannot ride.

Riding with a translation instead of an IDP: Riders from Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Monaco, Estonia and Slovenia can ride with their home license (original) + an official Japanese translation (issued by JAF). France and Belgium may use either an IDP or a translation.
Our motorcycles have no ETC device. At toll gates, take the GREEN「一般 / General」lane and pay there.

For international riders: please carry both cash and a credit card — around Hakone, some toll booths and shops are cash-only.
Please return the motorcycle with a full tank. Use high-octane (premium) fuel — the YELLOW nozzle at Japanese gas stations. Fuel costs are not included in the rental price.
